Accessory Design
A design path for bags, footwear, and accessories with construction and materials at the center.
Where this leads
The confusion, addressed honestly
Accessory Design students sometimes portfolio only glam photos. Manufacturers and brands hire construction literacy and tech packs. Show development samples. Footwear/bags have different craft — be specific. Lifestyle imagery without process is styling, not accessory design proof. Studio and campus screens still reward ownership stories over tool-logo lists. Bring one artifact — case study, prototype, lookbook page, or critique notes — you can defend in depth.
