Aerospace Engineering

Aircraft and space systems engineering with heavy emphasis on structures, propulsion, and avionics rigor.

Where this leads

The confusion, addressed honestly

Aerospace anxiety is binary: ISRO/HAL seat or career over. Seats are limited; treating adjacent paths as "settling" makes students stuck. Mechanical design, CFD/structures, propulsion labs, avionics/embedded, and UAV systems regularly hire aerospace grads who can show a rigorous project — not just aircraft posters. A CFD study with mesh/assumptions, a structural analysis with load cases, or a UAV flight-test log is concrete. Keep aerospace ambition; widen the evidence so one rejected PSU form isn't your only plan.

Role paths

Designs aero structures or systems under strict weight and safety constraints.

Analyst Consultant

Structured problem-solving for clients — research, models, and recommendations.

Application Engineer

Helps customers apply products correctly — demos, PoCs, and technical support.

Associate Sales Engineer

Bridges product and buyers — demos, technical Q&A, and solution mapping.

Associate Scrum Master

Supports agile ceremonies, blockers, and delivery rhythm for engineering teams.

Avionics Engineer

Works on aircraft electronics, navigation, and embedded flight systems.

CFD Analyst

Simulates fluid flow for vehicles, HVAC, process equipment, or aerospace.

Content Engineer

Builds structured learning or knowledge content for technical audiences.

Control Systems Engineer

Designs feedback control for machines, plants, and vehicles.

Design Engineer Trainee

Creates drawings and models that manufacturing or construction can execute.

Drone / UAV Engineer

Builds or operates UAV systems spanning airframes, avionics, and autonomy.

Embedded Software Engineer

Writes software close to hardware — MCUs, drivers, and real-time constraints.

FEA Analyst

Uses finite-element analysis to predict stress, vibration, and failure.

Field Engineer Trainee

On-site installation, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical work.

Graduate Engineer Trainee

Campus-hire rotational or team-assigned role for fresh graduates learning production systems.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Designs mechanical parts and assemblies for function, cost, and manufacturability.

Mechatronics Engineer

Integrates mechanical, electronic, and control systems into working machines.

NDT Engineer Trainee

Supports non-destructive testing for welds, structures, and components.

Power Electronics Engineer

Designs converters and power stages for EV, industrial, and energy systems.

Project Coordinator

Tracks timelines, risks, and dependencies so engineering delivery stays visible.

Research Intern

Supports experiments, literature, and prototypes in academic or industry labs.

Robotics Engineer

Builds robots spanning mechanics, electronics, and autonomy software.

Systems Engineer

Integrates hardware/software subsystems and validates end-to-end behavior.

Technical Recruiter Associate

Sources and screens engineering talent using technical judgment and outreach.

Thermal Engineer

Analyzes and designs thermal management for products, engines, or plants.
