Internet of Things

Connected devices degree spanning sensors, embedded software, and cloud data paths.

Where this leads

The confusion, addressed honestly

IoT anxiety is "my projects look like Arduino toys, so product companies won't take me seriously." They're partly right: blinking LEDs aren't enough. What separates hireable IoT work is end-to-end thinking — sensors, firmware, power budget, connectivity failure modes, and a cloud or dashboard path with logs. Document a brownout, packet loss, or security hole you fixed; that's closer to industrial IoT than another weather-station demo. Embedded and software teams both respect reliability stories. Upgrade one project from demo to system and your branch stops looking gimmicky.

Role paths

Analyst Consultant

Structured problem-solving for clients — research, models, and recommendations.

Associate Sales Engineer

Bridges product and buyers — demos, technical Q&A, and solution mapping.

Associate Scrum Master

Supports agile ceremonies, blockers, and delivery rhythm for engineering teams.

Computer Vision Engineer

Builds systems that understand images/video for products or industrial use.

Content Engineer

Builds structured learning or knowledge content for technical audiences.

Drone / UAV Engineer

Builds or operates UAV systems spanning airframes, avionics, and autonomy.

Embedded Software Engineer

Writes software close to hardware — MCUs, drivers, and real-time constraints.

Firmware Test Engineer

Tests firmware against hardware realities — timing, peripherals, and failure.

Graduate Engineer Trainee

Campus-hire rotational or team-assigned role for fresh graduates learning production systems.

Hardware Test Engineer

Validates hardware against specs with fixtures, scripts, and measurement discipline.

Integration Engineer

Connects products and systems across APIs, protocols, and operational realities.

IoT Engineer

Connects sensors/devices to cloud with secure, reliable data paths.

Mechatronics Engineer

Integrates mechanical, electronic, and control systems into working machines.

PCB Design Engineer

Designs printed circuit boards from schematic to manufacturable layout.

Project Coordinator

Tracks timelines, risks, and dependencies so engineering delivery stays visible.

Research Intern

Supports experiments, literature, and prototypes in academic or industry labs.

Robotics Engineer

Builds robots spanning mechanics, electronics, and autonomy software.

Systems Engineer

Integrates hardware/software subsystems and validates end-to-end behavior.

Technical Recruiter Associate

Sources and screens engineering talent using technical judgment and outreach.
