The confusion, addressed honestly
BCA students are told they "can't do SDE" compared to B.Tech CSE — and many internalize it before building anything. Campus reality is harsher on weak portfolios than on degree names: service and product teams hire BCA grads who show DSA basics, Git hygiene, and a shipped project. MCA can help some profiles; it isn't a mandatory apology for BCA. What actually blocks offers is tutorial-only GitHub and no internship or freelance trail. Treat the anxiety as a signal to build proof, not a prophecy.
